Spoilers Ahead It's a decent movie. Also this is mainly a rant about what doesn't make sense in this movie. The guns and shooting logic makes no sense. Such as the scene when the protag shoots his shotgun in an underground parking lot. His ears would be destroyed. In an earlier scene, he even wears shooting headgear but abandons it for no reason. The spread on the shotgun also makes no sense. The shots act more like slugs than buckshot but they are buckshot because he kils 2 side by side zombies in 1 shot. When the HS-girl first turns into a half-zombie, you find out she has super strength. No where in the movie is this expanded upon. The only later use for her super strength is to shake off a guy. There is literally no plot point to her having super strength. Speaking of her super strength, why does she have it? We know that zombies act like what they did before they were infected and in rare cases, may increase those traits such as in the athlete zombe. But why does she have super strength? She isn't a strongman or powerlifter. She doesn't even look like she's lifts weights. You could say "She's a half zombie so she's special" and to that, I say, "Flip You. That makes absolutely no sense. Zombies should have super strength then (which I guess the athlete zombie does) The story and plot is also lacking. You are introduced to the idea that high elevation is lethal to the virus. The only nearby place with a high altitude is Mount Fuji, so logically, you would think that they'd go to Mount Fuji. Nope, they stop at a Mount Fuji mall near the base of Mount Fuji, nowhere high enough where they need to be. Also, when the group of survivors save Hideo and Hiromi (H&H), they literally leave their friend/someone they've known longer than H&H to die. Nobody even attempted to save him. Nobody is mourning his death. He isn't even mentioned later. What also doesn't make sense is how Sango? ( long hair guy) survived so long. There was literally a zombie behind him that attacked him. When Lura plays music on the intercom, the athlete zombie doesn't go towards it but opposite of it. It makes no sense. Oh yeah, when Hideo shoots the running fat zombie and he keeps running, Hideo just flipping stands there? Why? Who does that? He could've literally just stepped to the side but he just stands there? What!? TLDR: Just turn off your brain and enjoy it. PS: People are comparing this to "Train To Busan". Wrong. Your opinion is wrong.
