The Medium is a game that subverts your expectations and gives you a true next gen experience, Bloober and Microsoft studios have achieved something miraculous with The Medium and it will stand as one of the greatest story based adventure games of all time. That's just it, this is an adventure game don't go in expecting the most action or depth to gameplay. The gameplay is traversal and puzzle based and the levels are linear. There are a few action scenes, mostly chase and stealth and it pulls it off really well. The Medium is best in it's class in this case. Bloober's previous project Observer shares it's DNA with this game and this is clearly shown in The Mediums presentation. However, while Observer was a taste of what Bloober is capable of The Medium is their Magnum Opus. A true masterpiece, play it now.
