Boring. And that was my wife's critique. Considering this is a "chick flick" that is damming. There were several scenes that did not advance the story line of the movie: the friend who complained about her 401k then retired, the crazy neighbor who was screaming at all hours then left a package at Gloria's door and something else that my memory has already dumped. Why did they waste time on those? The only thing the main characters had that was great was their sexual relationship. Other than that they were both rude and inconsiderate to each other. The climax was the scene of domestic violence at the end. I guess from the chick perspective he had it coming so there were no repercussions for Gloria. Of course if she had been the victim of that assault the final scene would have been of the guy getting hooked up by the cops. Instead, it was of Gloria dancing happily.
