A show worth watching, so it's cancelled after 2 seasons. It will probably get replaced with a remake of a remake. SHMT is funny, original, clever, and well acted. I'll miss it.

Season 21 is mediocre. This is perhaps my favorite show ever, but the reboot has some issues. Sam Waterston added stability and quality acting to the show in the past but doesn't fit anymore. Although she has almost impossible shoes to fill, Catherine Manheim doesn't fit. She doesn't seem connected to the detectives or plausible as a cop. Anthony Anderson has lost his edge and snarkiness. I blame the writing. The extra actors seem a notch less talented than before. The stories are just OK. There's lots of room for improvement and I hope that's the case. Man, I miss Lennie!!!
