It was heart warming and heart wrenching. As far as the critics, well I never really care much what they have to say about anything. it's to bad everybody else does. it takes a lot to make movie and from what I could see everyone put their best foot forward and worked really hard. I say thank you, job well done.

Jamie Dornan played an average hard working man. He did it with such likeability and integrity, you couldn't help but want more of Jack. Sadly we really didn't get much of Jack. Sabastian Stan played a nomad who smoked and drank to much. Later drugs, a guy most women should but never stay away from. And Sabastian shows us why charm and fire. He played Frank better then great he was perfect. Shailene Woodley played a confused woman. I remember being confused in my 20s but she was supposed to be in her 30s. She gets upset when she finds Frank doing drugs. Her reaction was teen like. I was disappointed how she portrayed women in their 30s. The victim of bad choices and not owning up to them it was more like a teen coming of age. Not a 30yr old finding herself. It was insulting.
