This movie would have been a great story that built better characters and worlds for the Star Wars franchise, but its lack of logic in a jambled plot and senseless story telling have landed it right next to "Holmes and Watson" in the garbage. If there had at least seemed to be some consideration from the screenwriter of what the hero's journey story arch could resemble, I could have been able to pity the movie thinking, "Of course it couldn't have been that good, Disney can't try to make everything a Marvel movie". Sadly, the movie ended up parodying its self, in a sad mockery of its lack of character development and plot. It's almost as if Disney said to the producer of this film "We can't deal with Star Wars right now, we're making Tom Holland pretend spoil EndGame." I would have given this movie zero stars, but I must admit that the actors really did make the best of the script that was handed to them, and the CGI was quite impressive.
