Should of been a straight netflix film release as that is what I fel like I watched. Just got back from seeing it, and I can say that I fell gullible to the positive reviews. Most positive reviews were probably A.I. I can see where the movie had potential, but it was lost throughout. There just wasn't any of that suspension and fear that the first two Alien movies gave. To me I feel like they made the Alien weak and like an action movie. The Alien did not appear intelligent or anything! Spoilers ahead: Listen I didn't mind prometheus. I also didn't mind Alien Resurrection as a child when I seen it. But, incorporating parts that most people didn't like from those movies into this one really did ruin it for me. Yet another Newborn Alien which now looks like an Engineer. Alien covenant is still the worst I have seen. I could never forgive a saluting mini Alien, but again, the mystery of Alien is again played with. There was more horror and suspense in Alien 3 than this. They should've just turned Alien Isolation into a movie, but would probably ruin that too. Please don't make a sequel.
