Limca Book of Records has contributed immensely to the safety issues on highways of India. They have allocated questionable 'record holder' status to individuals/ couples for doing endurance runs on national highways of the country. By recognizing such timings, it not only puts individuals/ couples at risk, it is a risk to everyone on highways. On moral and social grounds, such records are void and meaningless
