NO-SPOILERS REVIEW A fantastic journey through the human experience. Reading through the one-star reviews, a lot of people are either offended by the characters (I.e. Ellie is a lesbian) or they were expecting a simple one-dimensional revenge story. This is not that, this is a story of finding yourself when you are in the throws of agony and no longer have what makes you feel whole. People complain that the characters decisions don’t make sense, but they do when you look at the emotion surrounding them. These characters are not robots, they succumb to their worst impulses and make grave mistakes. That’s what makes this story so fantastic, it’s REAL. As for the ending that some complain about, the character makes the decision they make for THEMSELF. So they would not lose who they are. I loved the twists and turns, the homages they show to the first TLOU and the new characters introduced. If you want a complex, emotional story that keeps you on the edge til the end, this game is for you!
