Not only does this show have absolutely baffling logic (space fire, getting out of a crash that didn't have any piloted assistance, without a scratch) and absolutely HORRENDOUS spots ("Strike me with all of your power!!"), the acting is odd at parts, the writing is, well, okay, the graphics are pretty good. The actors are a good bunch generally (still angry they just immediately killed indara), we even have Mr "BORTALS!" (from the good place) and the guy from squid game. Overall, the show warrants itself a 2.5 in my mind, but I feel a 3 is too generous.
The third episode has odd acting choices in some parts, and of course as if the director copied ideas from south park's panderverse, we had a lesbian mom couple. However, that can be overlooked as the third episode explains the plot and backstory pretty well and is in my opinion the best episode, but the dialog but where Yord says "well your mom and sister and entire family died" ruins it basically.
Another thing I'd love to add, is that we do not see a non-agressive white male character until the second episode, where he just flat out kills himself. I can overlook this if the show is alright, but If this show gets any worse, AND it's written straight out of the south park panderverse, this is getting a lower review. I know they want to diversify, but it's really weird when in a group of I dunno, fifteen children there's multiple kids of different colors and genders, but SPECIFICALLY no white men. It's not ruining the show, but it's REALLY weird.
Fourth & Fifth episode edit: Really weird decisions just jabing them change their mind completely on some things, however I am absolutely loving the fact they aren't afraid of killing characters. If they stay dead, I'd give this show a 6/10. If they coke back, 2/10. Fifth episode was the best so far. I hope we see more like it.
after watching all of them, it's bad. the only kudos I can give is they actually kill characters. solid 2 stars, screw this show man I'm going insane
