This is a wonderful film--it is so touching, so understated. Both my husband and I are happy to watch it at least once a year (and he is a difficult person to please!).

Very good film: almost totally captures the absolute right of the Libyans to fight the invasion of the Italians. A bit dated in 2020, but still powerful.

This is one of my favorite films! There are so many touches that amuse and deepen the meanings of each character. Cher deserved her oscar! One of those movies I can watch every year.
