By far the best historical drama show I have seen in years. With all the criticism of less than believable fits of strength and life altering injuries that seemingly have no long term effects I still found the story and acting superb. This is one of those rare shows which immerses you in the midst of action and makes you feel what the main protagonist feels in the moment. The story is intertwined between fictional and real historical characters and while I do not presume to know the full history of settling the Utah territory it was compelling to the point of fully believable. The acting was top notch as well as the scenery and cinematography. I like mini series in general because no second season which in case of Netflix may never materialize is expected from the get go, but in case of this show I actually wished it should have been somewhat longer to allow many character to develop. If any criticism to be laid on it it would be the show title itself which I found generic and pretentios and not representative of the storyline. All in all it was exceptionally done and I will be looking forward to see more from the show creators.
