I would consider myself a pretty conservative person. But dang, a lot of guys didn’t like this game because of the relationship Ellie has and the fact that Abby is more swoll than them and it shows. Sure, Joel dies, but if you think he shouldn’t be allowed to die because he’s a “main character” then you probably think “the fast and the furious” is Shakespearean deep. The truth is this kind of overlap of regular people doing bad things is bound to happen in an apocalyptic world. The game isn’t perfect and sometimes the gameplay is a little clunky. The story is actually really good and has a lot of moral dilemmas. Just go in knowing that Joel wasn’t a saint you just spent a lot of time with him and understood his motives. Have that same open mind when playing Abby try to understand her motives and you might actually have some fun.
