i bought this recording the year it came out. i had been collecting recordings from anybody in the screaming trees orbit..which meant solo stuff and new bands since the kind of hiatus and members of previous bands. so skinyard.had barrett martin.and gary lee conner had side ventures of ...purple outside..a wild psychedelic guitar gem.and valis.mark lanegans solo stuff was absolute perfection but fast stories from kid coma by truly with drummer mark pickerel from the screaming trees and founding member of soundgarden guitarist hiro yamamoto and a guy i never heard of ..robert roth channel such a huge soundscape into this hidden masterpiece it hard to believe its only 3 dudes..this album is so original yet isnt so dissonant that you feel like youre diving into an obscure new genre like burger highlife...on vinyl the album would seem like it's following the blueprint for timeless milestone
albums.. every song on the first side must be straight fire and they are with blue flame ford, leslies coughing up blood and if you don't let it die being the cream .side two must have at least two longer songs that are more experimental or ethereal or have more instrumental exploration .usually one of them ends up being the real classic track.with a few more song
s for every taste..all boxes checked...tragic telepathic (soul slasher) i think this one of those that quite a few buyers will find its their favorite...which brings me to a superastrosonicgalaxy defining moment in hurricane dance. which may be about wasps..dive into lyrics if you wish but it will probably prevent you from devoting your time to music and vocals which oscillate between the barely perceptible to the overpowering auditory equivalent of gambling with the brown note..these guys truly knocked one out of the park.over the trees and thru the garden and add your own robert rock expressive blip about an album released in 1995 that's so good we had to evolve for 20yrs to be able to appreciate it
