Loved all of it - the turquoise skies, the brainiac kids, the tourist cabin back and forth conversations, the quick dialogue cuts, the dancing roadrunner. Best Wes Anderson yet.

Watched it again to catch the overlapping dialogue, with all its dark and funny lines about broken emulsions and unaccompanied accompaniments. The courses are so bitingly pretentious that you’ll never look at a tasting menu or a concept restaurant the same way again. And it is a great menu, with just desserts for all. The final exchange with John Leguizamo’s assistant is devastating.
