I watch CNN almost every day. I must say that I was disappointed in the reports on July 6 about people trying to take the Confederate Statues down. I am a Black American- the statues are nothing but stone. They can't move to hurt anybody but the lives of those children who were shot in the crowd was the most painful result. Crowds trying to take down statues that, cannot talk, cannot hear, touch or see but the lives of innocent children being caught in the mist is much more terrible. Are the statues worth all that? That point needs to be expressed.
