I place this album up there amongst my very favorites. Not a bad song on the entire album. The band seems to be in sync and harmony for this one making it a real pleasure to listen to again and again. More over, in a time of over engineered and over produced recordings, this album shins. They resisted gimmicks and fancy tricks, and post production processing and clearly just focused on laying down and capturing the very best tracks from the start. The sound is raw and lush. Listening to this on my near field monitors every little part is heard. It even stands up to the Kyogo Stax SR Lambda Pro headphones, allot of recordings don't. I place it up there in production quality with the likes of Eagles, Hell Freezes Over, and Dave Grusin, Mountain Dance as recordings that stands out from the very first listen. If you are gonna buy this album, make sure you get the PCM (CD) and not MP3 copy.
