Lady Stynnett (Manifestgirl)

Anyone black or white who does not know the history of the Great Migration of black people from the south should watch this to become educated about the history of African Americans after the war, However being a fair skinned 60’s baby with a dark skinned mother, WE LIVED THIS, and that’s why I couldn’t get past episode 2, it bought back toooo many bad memories and caused me so much pain watching it. As a child I HATED WHITE PEOPLE, I’m so far over that now and evolved passed the horrors of my childhood but this series brought up pains and issues I thought were long behind me. Watching this enraged me and broke my heart. I can’t finish it. The acting was superb, they all deserve Oscars! It hurt too much to watch to give 5 stars but I’m certain it deserves it.
