"Wildlife" is at times, sad, aching, horrifying, but at all times true. The acting of the 3 main actors is the best we'll probably see this year. The drama is told by their young teenage son using mostly his face and eyes alone. Jake Gyllenthal and the wife, Carey Mulligan, in particular, are unforgettable. This is not an action film with blazing guns and naked bodies. It is a story of small town characters, failure and yes, at the end, hope.
