This is by far one of the best MMOs I have ever played and I've played quite a few of them. I've heard a lot of people hate on this game. At first I found the game boring and my interest died off after getting to lvl 20 on a Character. But a year later I picked it up again and gave it a fair try. I was not disappointed. This game contains the massive open world of Tamriel beautifully recreated as an MMO. There's a main story line, there are three factions with their own story lines. and hundreds of side quests that unlike many other MMOs, these side quests can be quite interesting and introduce you to some interesting characters. There's very few fetch quests like you see in other MMOs and and if there is a fetch quests it tends to fit into a larger narrative which makes them more interesting. There's also some questlines such as the Fighters Guild or the Mages guild that open up new ability trees for your character. There's also plenty of professions for your character to take up such as crafting armor, weapons, creating enchantments, potion crafting, cooking, woodworking, and more. There's also an incredible PvP system. You can join in on massive PvP battles with hundreds of players focused on capturing objectives and keeping them in month long campaigns. There's an incredible PVE endgame as well with many group dungeons as well as more rewarding master dungeons. There's also trials as well which are activities focused on large group cooperation and can be very challenging. There's also seasonal events that allow you to earn cool rewards. But that's not all. That's just the base game. The base game alone will give you 1000+ hours of content but there have been many paid expansions added over the years that have added hundreds more quests, new zones, new dungeons, new trials, new professions, new classes, and even new PvP game modes. Also, this game is very open ended. The classes just determine your starting abilities unique to that class, but you can use whatever weapons or armor you desire. You can play any role you desire too regardless of class. Wanna play a necromancer that can heal? You got it. Wanna play a sorcerer that can tank? You can do that too. I realize this game has gotten a lot of criticism over the years due to its poor launch as well as some people thinking this would be an Elder Scrolls 6 and getting their hopes shattered. But if you love the universe of Elder Scrolls at all, or even if you're just interested in a fun MMO that is full of things to do and is full of beautiful locations, interesting characters, and plenty of interesting quests. This game is definitely worth a try and if you give this game an honest try, I think you're in for a real treat. See you all in Tamriel, and may your road lead you to warm sands.
