I saw Fresh Kills twice this weekend. I went with a friend and It was so great I took another friend the next day! This movie touches you in so many ways. It’s not just a mob movie told thru the eyes of the women stuck in that box but it transcends to all situations in life where we are not allowed to have choices and must break free to become your authentic self! These actors - all of them- were phenomenal! Connie was my favorite but each actor, from the children, to the nun, to all the adult family members moved me so much. If you haven’t seen it, you have to go!!!! If you did see it, please leave a review to keep the movie around longer. I’m hoping for #netflix down the road. Finally, Jennifer Esposito shines in her directorial debut and as actor and producer. I can’t wait to see more of her directing other movies as well.
