What makes this movie really chilling and thought provoking is not the music, cinematography, script, or acting. What makes it truly chilling is that this manner of story is very much true. How many people go through the same horror, vulnerability, despondence, dread, and despair; when dealing in their lives with people like the monster in this tale. All too often society gives the benefit of the doubt to those who are well dressed, affluent, connected, affable, and treat the "real" victim as the bad seed. What not many like to admit, is that there are moments when the only way one can set
oneself free, is by becoming a far more insideous and perverse monster than your tormentor.
