I liked it, especially season 1. The concept is interesting and the world building offered a lot of potential for more interesting plots. Sadly season 2 seemed very rushed, and the whole plot with the "rat catcher" didn't make much sense and seemed like a filler. Also the main squad of soldiers was missing for almost all of season 2, but instead a big bunch of super flat new characters were introduced almost constantly. JSDF propaganda is way stronger in season 2 to a level that's annoying. Season 1 also at least attempted critical examination on both culture and technological clash, season 2 missed that almost completely. Should have ended after season 1 imo.
