I a, having a hard time with this story. 13 year old girls joining the marines. Really? The story is dry and it's hard to get comfortable in this read. It sounds more like feudal Japan. I am in the 3rd chapter and have been reading it off and on.. it has been 3 weeks into this and normally I can read a book in 2 or 3 days. Does the story actually pick up or is the whole series set this way?
