Dramatic, well acted and even better written. One of the best mini series I've seen in quite some time and a wonderfully modern Homage to Poe fans.

The performances were good and the plot easy to follow. A nice mix of familiar vs unfamiliar talent, but the first episode was very slow. Like most people, I think the legend of King Arthur has been beaten to death, but this telling seems a little closer to what life may have been like in that age. Still a focus on the supernatural, but not overshadowed by it. I was also happily surprised to see actors of color, since contrary to popular belief, there were Asian and African people in medieval England. I'm hoping the pace will pick up and to see some excellent swordplay.
