I bought this book after listening to Sanjeev as a panel member on TV, about 'Bharat' as another name for India. The book gives an account of India's history and how geography played role time to time. I like Sanjeev's style of narration. He chose words wisely...not too complicated, making it easy to read and hooked the reader throughout. Sanjeev also chose not to go very deep in to the subject otherwise it would read like another boring history book. This book must be read by Indians settled outside India, and the next generations who are born and brought up in other lands yet interested to learn about India. While it is not very necessary, I would believe some connect with India (geographically, culturally and historically) will be very useful before commencing to read as the reader would be hooked to the narrative without having to research the backgrounds. Thanks to Sanjeev for making it compact, yet very informative.
