I have no idea why I like this show. I appreciate chess, but it's not really my thing. Yet the story, the drama, the playmanship of it all just sucks you in. You start wondering what's going to happen next, but it's not about just the human interactions with everyone but the actual games itself. You're left feeling that there is so much more in a long-standing board game that has fallen from favor over the years.
