Emily Carrington

I hope this is the start of a trend of having a show hanging on a great actor instead of just special effects gimmicks or fast paced story writing tricks. I feel for a lot of shows the acting has been taking second place to other things. Not that I don't like the faster paced shows, but I also really enjoy sitting and being riveted to the screen just by the quality and depth of the acting, and I think Kathy Bates is doing that for this show. Its a fun watch! Sorry, not getting a 5 star but a good solid 4!
