I have been reading it to my daughter, at almost end of the first book, I’m still not enjoying it, I can see the characters are forming, story line is not bad, but the actual writing is very repetitive in a way, author would use about 5 “and” and 3 “of” in a very one long sentence, it’s not very pleasant to read.
