The movie was a blend of the magical feeling of Harry Potter, the lively music of the Greatest Showman, and the imagination of Roald Dahl. It is a heart-warming story that takes from the movie and less from the book. However, the music was brilliantly composed. It was nothing like Netflix's Matilda: The Musical. I could not stop talking about the movie to my friends and family. In all honesty, I would give it a 4.3 out of 5. The movie is more for the light hearted audience such as children and adults who are kids at heart. It's new, so I think it is hard to adjust to the characters, style, and music. But, give it a chance and it can sit with you wonderfully.
