If you liked the original trilogy, I bet you'll like this. It pays homage to the older movies, is fast paced, and yes, there is lots of 'fan service'. That's good, because it isn't some contemporary art piece it's frickin' space wizards and it's supposed to please fans of the genre. IMO, it's the best movie since Empire. Honestly I had a blast and plan to watch it in the theaters again. Yay!
