I am also a huge Queen/Freddie Mercury fan and know his story well. Loved the movie and like many others had to keep an open mind realizing I wasn't getting Freddie playing Freddie. With that in mind, I was very pleased with the job Rami Malek did portraying him. He had his strut down to a T. The energy was fantastic! Coming from someone who witnessed the devastating affects of the AIDS epidemic during that time, I was glad the film didn't delve too deep into the Freddie's sad decline. Excellent movie that I believe Freddie would have loved too.
