I wish they focused more on the relationship of the two characters. Half of the movie is them apart and goin on with their "normal" life. But hey, it's set in like decades ago where it really were considered an abomination to another level. Ennis made it clear that he wants to, but scared. So for two decades they really never managed to be together like jack hoped.. fora movie that is supposed to show how love between two men was like in and since the 19-- , it kinda fell short. I wish they had more scenes where we really see how deep and sincere love could be, even if it's in a different form.
