The storyline is good and heavy, but the movie is more about aesthetics than it is about anything else. The acting is not great, the dialogues don't sound natural, the main characters are portrayed pretty poorly, especially Gabby. You don't get attached to her because the dialogues are so over the top, Gabby is trying too hard to come off as interesting and witty, but her lines are neither. She is also the perfect example of the male gaze with her unnecessary wide-eyed looks and lip biting. Only got through the movie to see how it ends, but it was a cringe fest for the most part and I wasn't really feeling it.
