This movie touched my heart so deep. It was like someone was narrating the story of my past 3 years. I lost my mother to cancer and it couldn't be more specific about what me and my family gone through. In those moments the only thing could help was friendship and caring of some people around us. I wish mom knew about the time she had so she could do what she wanted. Same as us.

Kinda felt that the movie is overrated after watching but then i considered the year that the movie got out which makes it 22 years old movie and the fact that it was based on true story kinda pushed away some of my disapointment. But I think the challengs of a schizophernia is better told in shutterisland. I give it 3 stars then.

I liked the rythem and the concept of the movie. It just portraits the lonliness of manhood and the need to search for the liveliness and intimacy either in his own undiscovered femminin or in his soul mate. It's a simple story with simple but deep message.
