What a disappointing disaster. Beautiful rendering with extremely limited environmental interaction, a protagonist who seems bewildered and is definitely annoying and a spoon-fed "adventure" that offers little if any challenge. Why have items you can actually interact with but can't keep and do nothing to help you or further the game?? What's with 20 empty drawers and cabinets in the first hour of the game? You have to single out crates you can break?? Ugh! Anyone look at RE4 lately?? Better dialogue, gameplay and interaction as well as challenges and by-far tougher fights overall. To me, finding bolt cutters and having them open the first chained gate by me is BOOOO-RING! And then you don't even get to keep them as a potential weapon option, which would have been cool. IMHO, this chapter would have been better served having Bruce Campbell doing one-liners over whiney Ethan and turning it into a more campy game . . .wait to buy this used. Not worth the money.
