Well I tried watching it and maybe if I finished the movie I may have liked it more than I did by stopping the movie midway but I lost interest when they used classic songs from the first two movies in more diluted and less exciting scenes than the song's were originally used for, then when Serge turned up again the movie lost credibility for me and I lost interest ,this movie just wasn't on the level of Top Gun Maverick which it's song's and cameos fit the movie well and didn't detract from the original or the legacy sequel but unfortunately I couldn't say the same for Axel F

Oh gotta love when people rate a classic one star like on here lol I've seen classics I don't like but can still appreciate why others like them even though it's not my thing and not trash the movie like others do. It's not a 1 star movie it has great production values and an excellent cast and the script it's meant to be corny it's not corny because it's bad its deliberate , I watched this last night The Princess Bride live in concert and it still holds up but if you love Bio Dome or Night At The Roxbury no this won't be your movie but if you like movies like The Sure Thing ( another Rob Reiner movie) or Can't Buy Me Love you should like it

I've read that because this story is more involved it's a better movie than the original and thats not the case it may have more happening and more plot as such but plot just isn't as interesting as the original and the old saying is true less is sometimes more , this movie is entertaining on a certain level but the original is a classic and this certainly is no classic

It may be outdated but it's a time capsule of violence from the past most of which are event's we all know or crimes by perpetrators we all know, it's probably lost its shock value compared to back in the early 80's but I still caught myself surprised and jumped at an assassination scene of a Viet Cong member that was very graphic and unexpected , if your into crime and the ugly side of humanity it's worth a watch if your not you'll just find it ugly and depressing.

I remember loving this back in the 80''s and I never watched part 1 so couldn't compare but this movie always stuck with me for being a fun ride with great effect's but fast forward to 2022 and I watched both and my first time watching part 1 in it's entirety and part 1 still holds up and part 2 the effects just look dated and cheesy which let the entire movie down so I've purchased an expensive Blu ray set for part 1 and only have part 2 on DVD

This movie is an absolute classic in every sense and can't understand a couple of the low ratings in here but I suppose as society becomes more woke it shouldn't be surprising , most movies date terribly but this movie hasn't and even the effect's still look great maybe not as good as they looked back in the 80's but still pretty good especially for the age of the movie

It's an ok movie but I think the snowman worked one last bit of magic to make everyone think it's a better biopic than it really is , the actual story has been told better before with more facts and told in a more factual fashion rather than a movie bloating with Baz Luhrmann's style and telling half facts and warping them is his own movie style or completely inventing things well that's nothing new but with all the hype I'd have expected a movie closer to the facts than any other before and adding modern rap music to period biopic is something that just shouldn't happen and Tom Hanks while I do like him was too cartoonish as the colonial and speaking of which it was far too based around that character instead of Elvis himself I actually like that old Elvis mini series from earlier 2000 more than this at least it played it straight and ham it up , it's still ok entertainment but as good as the hype no not really

Well I've heard how good the film is and it is good and makes you realise how far left field De Nero's career has gone since the 90's he was excellent in this and while I liked the movie I thought it was far too long and I wouldn't say the best crime movie ever like some have said but it's definitely worth watching but at nearly 3 hour's for me it's a once watch only

Much better than some of the people giving these reviews make out they should say they personally didn't like the movie and not that it's a bad movie because it isn't at all , I hadn't seen this since I watched it with my mother in the 80's this is definitely one of Walter Hills best and it's like anything some will like it and some won't but don't not watch it because of some people's taste judge for yourself
