I don’t normally post video game reviews but I am today to warn everyone to stay away from this game. I’ve been playing 2K since Dreamcast and NBA Live back in 95’ when it came out. I have never seen such a glitched game before in my entire life. The shooting is god awful. 2K said they were doing a “hot fix” on the shooting to fix it today and it’s been nothing but a hot mess. Guys will literally not even hit the rim on wide open 3’s, wide open mid range jumpers, layups, putbacks, you name it. It’s mind boggling. You can’t play anything right now in MyTeam without getting the blue screen error. Basically 2k let’s you start a game and then before the player introductions you get the blue screen and youR game shuts down and you lose all your players contracts each time it happens. It’s happened to me 15 times today. I have two tech tickets open right now with 2K. This is bad. I’m sure many of you reading this don’t buy video games to submit tech tickets because that’s what a ‘game tester’ doesn’t for a living and I don’t do that for a living. Instead we’re paying to test their game and then help them fix it. Look, I know Covid has messed up a lot of game development this year among everything else. The executive in charge of 2K should have made an ‘executive’ decision to not release this game, plain and simple. Sure, 2K would have lost a lot of money if they did that but it would have been the right thing to do. It’s not even close to ready. A lot of people are hurting financially and saved up their hard earned money for this game, just scroll through their twitter feed and you’ll see it. People are seriously upset and disappointed. This has been an abysmal experience so far. I imagine this is how people felt when they played Fallout 76 except this feels worse. Again, my advice would be to not purchase this game. They have a lot of great ideas for this years game but the most important aspect will always be gameplay and they completely dropped the ball in terms of gameplay and in un-playability due to bugs.
