This movie felt like a project done by a film school student trying to impress their instructor. Over the top artistic camera shots are used for mundane scenes, the music rarely matches what's happening on screen and the characters act as if they're trying to be over top as if they're on Big Brother. This movie was not made for audiences but for film critics. If you saw big name actors and thought hey this may be good, it's not, don't watch it.

Decent enough movie, but a bad Star Wars movie. Very lazy writing. Many times things seem to happen simply because the writer needed an outcome but didn't want to work for it. You'll often be watching and just kind of go "ugh, okay, sure." Visuals were excellent and many scenic shots were stunning. It's worth watching once, anymore and you'll just start picking out plot holes. If you're someone who doesn't dig deep for story and just says "hey, it's a movie about space wizards so why not," then you might actually like this one.
