Why does NASCAR insist on putting the Cup races on cable channels that lots of Americans do not get...like FS1? Contrary to what people whom live in urban areas and big cities think cable is not available to lots of rural homes. Satellite services may or may not be available depending on topology like hills, mountains, valleys and trees. Even if it is available and can be used it can be really expensive. Also the Sports channels are generally only in the top tier or most expensive packages.
Remember lots of the people affected by this is really NASCAR's grassroots fans. I would think the media companies would want to make it available to the largest audience possible for the media dollars.
