Love the NFL, love the knowledge and enthusiasm of Jason and Osi, but…. a third presenter only works well if they play the straight guy to the humour and passion that these guys bring. There is too much loud banter and not enough great analysis, Match of the Day has the balance right, this show does not. A good lead presenter should be asking more questions to Osi and Jason, getting them to recap their experiences. On the few occasions Osi and Jason have done the show by themselves it has flowed better and been much more informative and entertaining. I can listen all day to Osi and Jason talking about the NFL, but find the over indulgent, over hysterical “banter” a little tiresome. If you listen to Match of the Day top ten podcast you will see what a great job Gary Lineker does of getting the best out of Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, probing them for tales from the Premier League whilst encouraging the humour but never letting it go too far and constantly bringing them back to the topic in hand, he doesn’t compete with them, he lets Micah in particular take the limelight.
