You know a book is fantastic when the sun is shining outside, the new day is beckoning you to enjoy the fresh air, and all you want to do is lie in bed and read it. Well that was Daisy and Kate! This book has been so beautifully written and tells the story of lost friendships, failed promises, disappointments in life but all in a way that is still uplifting and left me reflecting past friends that for some reason are no longer in my life, and to have gratitude for what I have. It also explores the very real subject of how homelessness is affecting women, especially those who are over 50. Please read this book. You will want to laugh, cry and if you don’t have one, get a dog! Thank you @meridithappleyard I can’t wait to read your other books!
