I am chiming in late. I am just coming to the ending of season 6. Although this show was entertaining to watch, I became very frustrated with Chuck Rhoades’ character and his crusade / motivation for pursuing billionaires, let alone the specific persons that he chose. It seems to me that he is as guilty as whomever he chooses to pursue as he spends his time trying to create opportunities for crimes to be committed by those he chooses to pursue. As if he doesn’t have access to money and power and is not abusing it all!! He is not the everyday man that he claims to be protecting. Instead, he comes across as an even bigger criminal than those he throws all his accessible power trying to attack. It would seem that he would instead try to use their power to fuel is supposed ultimate goal, protecting the common man from the exploitation of billionaires. Especially, when it’s obvious that there are bigger fish to fry with the power struggle and corruption within the governmental infrastructure itself. It would make more sense to gain their ear and align with them to accomplish the truly genuine goal he claims to have instead of automatically pitting himself against them. Well, what kinda drama would it be then. However, that too is dramatic.
