They butchered the franchise :( Terrible acting, story, music, action scenes, costumes, nothing redeemable. Idk who the target audience is, but it's not anyone who enjoyed the original, nor is it for new audiences. Absolutely awful. It's as though they made it a teen angst comedy that tries to be serious but can't because of all the plot holes and super bad writing. I am committed to watching it because of my love for the original, but I'm not enjoying it, and I hate that my "views" are giving disney the impression they did something right when that's dither from the truth. It's so cringe.
