That was the most horrendous movie I had ever had the displeasure to watch! I have been a big fan of the fast and furious films since the beginning and even after the extreme exaggerations up to fate of the furious, they were still fun movies to watch, and still had a car enthusiast vibe to it. However Fast 9 felt like it was making fun of car enthusiasts and just went in a silly direction that was just extremely cringey. I mean toretto's brother (which is ridiculous on its own) accidentally blew up their dad in the car and toretto wanted to race to see if he could stay in the family??! What!!? Who wrote this garbage? The only two actors that somewhat saved face were ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez and that was cuz ludacris had the angle of the audience and calling out how stupid everything was in the movie and I don't remember Michelle having many lines, everyone else especially vin diesel totally lost any sort of credit as an actor for taking part in this movie. There were several people in the audience that left halfway through and If you haven't seen it yet do yourself a favor and watch literally anything else. Anyways I went into this movie knowing it would be kinda dumb as far as physics and stuff and I expected to laugh a bit at it but I expected a fun action movie with cool cars, I so wish I would have watched a trailer before going in, it would have saved me 2 hours of my life.
