Loving the new season with Jodi Whittaker. It’s definitely a fresh new spin on the series and I for one am in love. Not only does it have the same comical relief we all have grown to cherish but it speaks on racism, equality and other very important messages in an easy to digest format great for adults and kids alike. I think there are some that would disagree and say that politics and social issues have no place in classic Doctor Who. I would disagree, if a show stays the same it has the ability to become irrelevant which is what I feared was happening with PC (which as an actor I love him and he didn’t have much of a chance to shine) and you see the ratings drop and people stop caring about the show. The one thing I would love to see is more character development to all parties. It’s odd not to have a doctor battling with internal guilt so it’s definitely made me change my perspective.
