I agree with some of the other reviews in that the author could have, and should have, cut shorter some of the unnecessary and excess history and commentary regarding life insurance, Lake Martin, voodoo, etc, but if you just skim through those pages and read only the chapters and pages involving the actual criminal case, the lawyer, and the fascinating ones about Harper Lee, you’ll probably LOVE IT. I’m a lawyer, a judge and a Harper Lee fan and I thoroughly enjoyed 90 percent of it.
