Really a 3.5 rating. Fairly good for a sci-fi monster movie. Decent storyline, acting and special effects too (as long as you don't overthink it). Unless your child is accustomed to seeing nightmarish imagery (there's only a few scenes), I would rate this PG16. For those that like a good monster battle, this movie is absolutely worth renting.
