I love that it shows how deeply meaningful a painting can be. I also love the coming of age story of Theo. It was a beautiful film, cast perfectly. I have been a fan of Jeffrey Wright since he starred in Basquiat (1996). His character in this film highlights the crux of why the painting is so important.
