The writer goods off topic too much in an effort to be what she has been trained to be as a writer. Would be better to just stick to storytelling; rambles on and on about views and opinions, while taking too long to finish out each event. Not sure a person would have an affair with a man who is as mean as Substance was described as being by his wife.
